Jeanie was born into doll collecting. To her it is a way of life. She had been coming to doll club meetings with her mom, Barbara Steiker, since she was a baby. Jeanie became a proud member of the National Doll & Toy Collectors Club in 1970, when she was 11 years old. She followed in Barbara's footsteps, as Barbara joined in 1940 when she was 15 years old and was a very close & dear friend of Mary Lewis, our founder.

This program will show photographs & other memorabilia starting with the very early days of the first doll club, The National Doll & Toy Collectors Club and ultimately, UFDC. It will show early members, the pioneers of organized doll collecting, and tell stories about Mary Lewis, our illustrious founder.
