Laura Terrace has been a doll lover and collector all her life.

She always received vinyl baby dolls as gifts, but with the discovery of chubby compo babies and German bisques – they too have made a way into her collection.

Growing up, she fell in love with the golden age of Hollywood watching old black and white movies from the 1930s and 1940s and along with seeing Lenci's Rudolph Valentino doll appear on the cover of a magazine that opened up a whole new world of collecting for Laura.

She now mostly concentrates on finding the rare old celebrity dolls; however, she doesn't rule out any doll that grabs her heart from time to time. She looks to find the rarest of rarest celebrity dolls and is always researching the possibilities of what could be out there!

Laura's doll articles and doll pictures have been published in magazines and books. She is a member of the Central Penn Doll Collectors Club and the John Harris Doll Club.
