Bernice Millman/Donelle Denery

About Bernice Millman/Donelle Denery
For many years, Donelle Denery was a doll dealer as well as a doll artist and studio owner specializing in the creation of exquisite porcelain dolls, meticulously crafted using traditional techniques that replicate antique dolls. Coming from a family of artists, her interest in dolls has always been from the perspective of 'dolls as art'. With a deep passion for doll making, research and collecting, many of her antique dolls were shared for molds to be made for reproductions. Donelle is also an accomplished author and educator within the doll community, serving one term as a regional director and serving as a Convention committee chair in six different roles over a continuous sixteen-year period for the United Federation of Doll Clubs. Although retired from teaching and most studio work, she continues to contribute to the doll world through writing, judging, board membership, chairperson and educational programs.
