About Robert Tonner
Robert Tonner is an acclaimed American doll artist, fashion designer, and sculptor, celebrated for his innovative and award-winning creations. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, Tonner began his career as head designer for Bill Blass before founding the Tonner Doll Company, where he combined his expertise in fashion and sculpting to produce iconic dolls such as Tyler Wentworth and Ellowyne Wilde.
Robert's company has designed both original lines and licensed dolls for major films, earning international recognition and numerous artistic honors, including a permanent piece at the Louvre Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. Tonner is also a past president of the National Institute of American Doll Artists (NIADA), and his work continues to inspire collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
