This year's convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch, situated, as the name implies, right next to the Gateway Arch in downtown St. Louis.
The layout is going to be very easy to navigate. We will be using two floors for our convention activities. The 2nd Floor is where the Sales Room, Workshops, Seminars, Programs, and Gatherings will be.
The 4th Floor will host the Meal Events, Competitive Exhibits, Special Exhibits, Helper Room, UFDC Boutique, Doll Dialogues, and main events such as the Opening Ceremony, Annual Business Meeting, and Fundraisers.
There are plenty of escalators and elevators between the floors. The Ground Floor is where the main desk and various restaurants are located; there is an excellent variety of eating options to suit all tastes.
To receive discounted room rates, starting at $175 per room per night, you must be registered for convention. You will receive hotel information and a code with your confirmation letter. Block rates may be applied for the days just before and after convention, depending on room availability.
Host Hotel Reservations
For everyone who has registered for the convention but has not yet booked your hotel room, the Hyatt hotel has now confirmed that there are no more rooms available for our convention dates - they are entirely sold out.
We may get cancellations in the run up to convention, in which rooms may become available, so keep on checking the Hyatt website as they will keep that up to date as and when things change.
UFDC has reserved block of rooms at two more hotels - the Hilton at the Arch and the Hotel Indigo. Both hotels are within easy walking distance of the Hyatt. The Hilton rate is the same as the Hyatt - $175 per night. The Indigo rate is $179 per night. Both those rates exclude taxes. Those registering for Convention from now on will be sent details on how they can make their booking at these hotels. The rooms are being held for us until June 17th (Hilton) and June 23rd (Indigo).
